ABOUT OAEM

One Accord Educational Ministry is a Church of Christ that He established in Matthew 16:18 which states “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Therefore, we as its members do not claim any establishment but can only claim the organization of the His Church. The book of Acts written by Dr. Luke provides us with our guiding verses for One Accord Educational Ministry that all must be mindful of. They are expressed as follows: Acts 1:14 “These all continued with One Accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren”., Acts 2: 1, “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with One Accord in one place”, (46) “and they, continuing daily with One Accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, (47) praising God, and having favour with all the people and the Lord added to the Church daily such as should be saved.”Acts 4: 24 “And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with One Accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:”

These scriptures in the book of Acts are the guiding scriptures that hold us together within the Church described in the book of Matthew.

One Accord Educational Ministry must devote most of its time studying the scriptures. The Bible says in II Timothy 2: 15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth.” Based on this premise a Bible Study Guide was organized for your daily readings. If you devote yourself to the daily reading one would be able to read the entire Bible within a year and start back again. We believe the more we study the scriptures the stronger we will be to stay in One Accord.

The Preface of our Bible Study Guide reads like this. This guide is to help you study the Holy Bible. The Bible does not defend itself. It was written to people, like you and me, who accepted its messages, and therefore spends little time convincing its readers of its authenticity.

The Bible is written so that all may understand the simple plan of salvation and how to live a Christian life. It does not take superior intelligence for one to read and understand God’s word. There are deep, hidden truths to be sure that one learns more as he/she grows in grace and knowledge of God’s word, but the essentials for becoming a Christian are simple and easy to understand. No one is completely educated until he/she has enough knowledge of God’s word to obey His commands.

The wise are those who study the Bible and live by it teachings. Remember this: “The truth to be taught must be learned through the truth already known”.

The guide provides information about the structure of the Bible. We teach that understanding the structure is fundamental to fully learning and sharing the words of God accurately. Once you have established the structure of the Bible you are ready to embark on the journey of the Calendar for adopted daily readings of scriptures on pages 16-27 of the Bible Study Guide.

The Bible Study Guide will be on the website. You can download for studying.
